ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
JAE

Jae is a Hong Kong–based Filipino artist exploring the intricate relationship between hip-hop and trap soul. With subtle wordplay, smooth delivery, and hedonistic rhythms, he creates abstractions that feel chaotic yet strangely ordered. His Art is an exploration of new wave music—offering listeners a glimpse into his alter ego.
The foundation of Jae's creative process lies in a childhood immersed in the performing arts, moving fluidly from one discipline to the next. Drawing influence from Hong Kong and the Philippines, Jae bridges the poetic soul of his Filipino heritage with the global, 808-driven pulse of modern hip-hop defining his city's evolving sound.

Jae debuted with the moody single “Booty Call” and now advances his profile with the sophomore release “ISY” (February 2026), produced by Since 1999, mixed and mastered by MANILA GREY’s lead engineer, Aidan Maclean Parker—connecting Hong Kong’s vibrant energy with Vancouver’s polished studio craft. Returning with the same team, he showcases another persona with “Let Me” (April 2026), taking a more rhythmic turn.
